Creating a New Leadership VISION
VISION for Life is as important as Vision for Business. It helps describe the type of Leader you want to become and what major contributions you would want to make and what impact it will have in near future.
It is not an easy task. It requires both articulating your human values and re-examining your goals for the future. Every individual is different and his contribution to this world is also unique. The pomp and luxury what we enjoy today is due to the contribution of our ancestors and people who have been in this world before us who have made this place worth living. Great effort has gone in making our lives comfortable and luxurious. You need to think and rethink what you can do as an individual and what contributions you want to make to the society and mankind.
You can start by identifying four or five most important episodes of your life. Man is sum total of all experiences he has had in his life. You are a sum total of all experiences you had in your life. What is that makes you unique. Describe the moments that define who you are. For each experience try to articulate how it has shaped your values.
Create a VISION for yourself and once you have a vision in your life, you will keep following it like iron dust to the magnet and nothing will stop you from achieving your goals and fulfilling your ambitions.
